The first-ever, fully virtual IUCN Global Youth Summit launching on April 5th, 2021, will celebrate youth leadership in conservation, and boost youth engagement across the Union. In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and to increase inclusivity and reach as many global youth as possible, it is critical to engage and empower the voice of youth. The IUCN One Nature, One Future Global Youth Summit aims to do just that in the span of less than two weeks.
Taking place a few months before the IUCN World Conservation Congress, the Global Youth Summit will enable young people from around the world to connect, exchange ideas and experiences. A Summit Outcome statement will be delivered to the IUCN Members’ Assembly in Marseille, France, as part of the commitment to working side by side with youth.
This is our chance to help shape a healthier, more resilient post-pandemic world from the city centre, to rural communities, to the most remote protected areas. Join us!
